For the past 10 years, I've worked as a creative designing everything from character designs to large-scale murals for clients across the world.

When I think about what kickstarted my love for creating, the obvious answer is k-pop. I don't think I can separate my 12 year-old self falling in love with the explosive colors and theatrics of that genre from my deep love for art. You'll probably be able to see throughout my portfolio that much of my commissioned works are portraits of Korean artists.

Though I still enjoy creating a fan and receiving the occasional commission, my work has changed drastically since graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2019. I began working for Dorrance Publishing Company as book illustrator and designer and have been creating for fantasy, romance, sci-i, memoirs, and children's books for over 5 years now.

I've had the chance to work on other amazing projects over the years including multiple murals and art installations for the City of Savannah and Wal-Marts throughout Georgia. I was one of the first artists to join Unsplash+ and Getty Image's new illustration program creating conceptual stock art images and an animator for independent musicians across the country.

As grateful as I am for the opportunity to create work on a larger scale as my career has advanced, I'm still the most excited to create these one-off commissioned pieces. I'm very thankful when people see my work and think it's good enough to honor a household pet, create a family patch for a local fire department, or remember someone who's recently passed. To have the ability to create works that connect with people in this way will forever be my favorite part of this job.
